VTL Disc
This is the from the VLT (Very Large
Telescope) in Cerro Paranal in the
Atacama Desert of northern Chile. This
360 degree full color image gives stunning
image of the Southern night sky. The VLT
consists for four 8.2 meter telescopes
operated by the European Southern
Observatory! Some of these telescopes
can be seen in the image around the
horizon of the disc.

Eagle Nebula
The Eagle Nebula is one of the most
beautiful nebula's in the havens. It is a
region of active current star formation
about 7000 light-years distant in the
constellation Scutum.

Sm Magellanic Cloud - The Small Magellanic Cloud is a
dwarf galaxy that can never be seen north of about 17
degrees North latitude, and can only be seen from the
Earth's Southern Hemisphere. The SMC not visible from
North America (except far southern Mexico), northern
Africa, and all of Europe and Asia (except the southern
regions of India and Southeast Asia).

Andromeda Galaxy- Located about 2.5  million
light years from Earth and about 200,000 light
year across, it's the classic galaxy that we
have all come to know. Similar in shape to our
own Milky Way Galaxy. For comparison Milky
way is 15 percent larger in breadth. More
importantly , Milky way is  denser, with 50
percent more mass. The two Galaxies will in
about Four billion years
